“My goal as a dance teacher is to help each student find their unique voice through dance, building not only their technical skills but also their self confidence, resilience and joy for learning. They will feel empowered to shine on stage and in all areas of their lives. I am honored to be part of this community, sharing the love and joy of dance with your children!”
Brittany, owner and co-founder of Evolve Dance Center, began her dance journey at age 2 and it has been a lifelong passion ever since.
Her early years were filled with training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, Cecchetti, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Pom, and Lyrical styles. Beyond her technical training, she has 13 years of experience as a studio competitive and convention focused dancer. In high school, she joined the Salem Rockettes Pom & Dance team, serving as a JV member for two years and Varsity for another two. She earned the titles of Mid-American All-Star and UDA All-Star, showcasing her talent and dedication.
After high school, Brittany spent two years coaching the JV Pom team at Salem High, where she discovered a new passion for choreography and teaching, reigniting her love for dance. She then stepped into a coaching role, helping to grow the P-CEP United Dance Team and co-founding their JV team in 2013, creating more opportunities for aspiring dancers at Plymouth-Canton Educational Park. She spent 2 years coaching PCEP JV dance team, before joining the Varsity coaching staff for 3 years before moving to Yuma! Some highlights of her coaching accomplishments include multiple regional championships, national placements, as well as team and choreography awards.
Beyond dance, Brittany’s entrepreneurial spirit runs deep, coming from a family of business owners. With 7 years of Corporate Operations experience, 15 years of 501(c)(3) Management experience, and 15 years of business management under her belt, she brings a powerhouse of leadership, expertise, and organizational skills to everything she does.
Brittany holds an Associate of Arts degree and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has participated in numerous leadership, teaching, and business conferences, with her most recent experience at the Dance Studio Owners Association (DSOA) conference, where she gained valuable insights into operating a dance studio. Outside of her professional life, Brittany is happily married to her high school sweetheart, and together they are raising four happy and healthy children.
"As a dance teacher, my mission is to inspire a love of dance in every student by fostering a supportive and encouraging environment. I am committed to teaching with care, ensuring that every student learns proper technique while prioritizing their safety and well-being. Through patience, dedication, and creative expression, I aim to help each dancer grow both in skill and confidence, empowering them to reach their full potential both inside and outside of the studio.”
